William J. Bullock
Executive Director

Bill joined RiverCenter after a 33-year career as a choral director and music administrator. He served Tarrant County Junior College (Fort Worth, Texas) and the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg) before retiring from Columbus State University in 2000. He received his Ph.D. degree from Florida State University. In addition to his responsibilities at RiverCenter, Bill conducts the professional chorus Cantus Columbus. He is married to Janie Lee, who is on the staff of the Schwob School of Music and is organist at First Baptist Church, Columbus. Bill and Janie Lee have a daughter, Leigh, who works for PKF North America Accounting Association in Atlanta, and a son, Mark, who is an anchor at WSFA in Montgomery, Alabama.

Jannina McPherson
CFO

Jannina moved to Columbus, Georgia from Bronx, New York in 1995. Before joining the RiverCenter staff in 2004, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Columbus Park and Recreations Department and as a new business specialist at Aflac. At RiverCenter she was recently promoted from Accounting Coordinator to Finance Director and CFO. Jannina is a senior majoring in financial management at Columbus State University. She brings RiverCenter sixteen years of business experience, including work at MasterCard International Corporation and The Smithsonian. She is a mother of three: Jaide-Ellyse, Jared and Jenay.

John Camp
Technical Director

A Columbus native, John began his professional career in the entertainment industry as a musician at the age of 15. His 25 year career has included work in many capacities both as a performer and a technician. He joined the production department of RiverCenter in Septermber of 2003 as the Sound Services Coordinator and became the Technical Director in January of 2008. He currently resides in Phenix City, Alabama with his wife Jessica and his two children Zachary and Isabella.

Jim Rutland
Program and Education Director

Jim Rutland, a native of Columbus and the Program and Education Director for RiverCenter, returned recently after spending 20 years in New York City where he spent his time performing and working in the entertainment industry. Highlights of that time include an appearance in the feature film Philadelphia and concerts at Carnegie Hall and on HBO. Jim is extremely happy to be home, working at RiverCenter and handling the ArtsReach education and outreach programs.
