Enoch C. Morris Jr.

Enoch moved to Columbus to be a part of the exciting things that are happening in Uptown. He brings 28 years of performing arts experience and is very excited to be a part of RiverCenter. He moved here from Springfield, Missouri with his wife Debbie and their daughter Devon. They have one other daughter that lives in Springfield, Ryanne that is watching closely over their only grand child, Landon David.

William J. Bullock
Associate Director and Director of Development

Bill joined RiverCenter after a 33-year career as a choral director and music administrator. He served Tarrant County Junior College (Fort Worth, Texas) and the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg) before retiring from Columbus State University in 2000. He received his Ph.D. degree from Florida State University. In addition to his responsibilities at RiverCenter, Bill conducts the professional chorus Cantus Columbus. He is married to Janie Lee, who is on the staff of the Schwob School of Music and is organist at First Baptist Church, Columbus. Bill and Janie Lee have a daughter, Leigh, who works for CompuCredit in Atlanta, and a son, Mark, who is an anchor at WSFA in Montgomery, Alabama.

Jannina McPherson

Jannina moved to Columbus, Georgia from Bronx, New York in 1995. Before joining the RiverCenter staff in 2004, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Columbus Park and Recreations Department and as a new business specialist at Aflac. At RiverCenter she was recently promoted from Accounting Coordinator to Finance Director and CFO. Jannina is a senior majoring in financial management at Columbus State University. She brings RiverCenter sixteen years of business experience, including work at MasterCard International Corporation and The Smithsonian. She is a mother of three: Jaide-Ellyse, Jared and Jenay.

Pat Phillips
Human Resources Director

A native of Phenix City, Pat joined the Community Projects Foundation and RiverCenter as Business Manager during early stages of the Columbus Challenge capital building campaign. Fully employed by RiverCenter at the end of campaign and opening of the building, Pat now serves as Human Resources Director and senior staff member. She and husband, Bill, enjoy spending time with their sons families (Scott and Jason Tindell), four grandchildren (Ashley, Andrew, Sarah and Jason II) and great-grandson, Shane.

Jim Rutland
Program and Education Director

Jim Rutland, a native of Columbus and the Program and Education Director for RiverCenter, returned recently after spending 20 years in New York City where he spent his time performing and working in the entertainment industry. Highlights of that time include an appearance in the feature film Philadelphia and concerts at Carnegie Hall and on HBO. Jim is extremely happy to be home, working at RiverCenter and handling the ArtsReach education and outreach programs.

Russell Leonard
Operations Manager

Russell Leonard is a native of Columbus, Georgia. He was employed by RiverCenter as Head of Security and soon was promoted to his current position of Operations Manager. Russell has 20 years of law enforcement experience, including service as Chief of Police for the City of Hamilton, Georgia, and employment as Commander of a federal drug task force. He received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Columbus State University. Russell contributes to the operations department not only the skills and knowledge acquired through his law enforcement experience, but also the abilities he developed from several years of experience as a business owner and retail manager in the Columbus area.

Michael Rogers
Box Office Manager

Michael joined the RiverCenter in May 2006 as the assistant box office manager, then took over the position of Box Office Manger in September 2006. Michael holds a BFA in Theatre Performance with an emphasis in Acting/Directing from Columbus State University. He has worked for the Springer Opera House, Northshore Musical Theatre, and the Cherokee Historical Association. Michael is thrilled to be working in the performing arts.
