Information Technology Associate
RiverCenter for the Performing Arts
IMMEDIATE OPENING
The Information Technology Associate (IT Associate) position is offered as part-time and is over-time eligible. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the information technology division under the direction of the IT Administrator .
Requirements:
- High school graduate; college graduate preferred with degree emphasis in computer related field.
- Consideration will be given to individual possessing professional knowledge and aptitude to learn who has not yet obtained a degree in computer specific or related field.
- Preference will be given to those possessing CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco Certification.
- One year experience in computer related software and trouble-shooting field.
- Working knowledge of Windows products to include XP, Server 2003, Exchange, Office and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of software such as VMware Server, QuickBooks, and Adobe CS3 with aptitude for others, running on multiple operating systems.
- Ability to navigate a network and understand basic operation of routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist with daily support of up to 65 users, file and email server support, inventory tracking, distribution, and research and development.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems, specifically Knology’s Matrix system, a plus.
- Experience with CAT5/6 installation.
- Ability to communicate both orally and written.
- Maintain pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
- Respond knowledgeably and in timely manner to staff requests.
- Work with little supervision and be attentive, accurate, and sensitive to areas that require assistance.
- Willing to learn and to perform all duties according to company rules and regulations set forth in RiverCenter Personnel Manual and Emergency Manual.
- Must possess ability to use sound judgment when presented with unanticipated problems where guidelines are not addressed in either the Emergency Manual and/or Personnel Manual.

Ticketing Associate
RiverCenter for the Performing Arts
This position is part-time, overtime eligible and will support retail and ticketing/box office operations for RiverCenter reporting directly to the Box Office Manager. Flexible hours considered.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Covering ticket sales window during some or all of normal box office hours (currently Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM).
- Some evening show hours (ticketing and sales gallery) and/or Black Tie events.
- Assist in responses to event and other general inquiries.
- Oversee designated operations of Ticketing and Sales Galley in the absence of the Manager.
Employment requirements:
- High school diploma.
- High level of organizational ability and excellent math skills.
- Reliable and adhere promptly to work schedule.
- Ability to quickly learn Tickets.com ticketing system.
- Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills.
- Computer operations knowledge and proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent oral communications.
- Moderate and conservative dress.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others as a team or independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Reliable transportation.
